Sanoma Uitgevers amongst five 'Best Employers'

Hoofddorp, 23 June 2009 - From now onwards, Sanoma Uitgevers is allowed to call itself one of the five best employers in the Netherlands. The media company has improved its ranking with five positions in the annual Effectory / Volkskrant Banen survey.

Every year Effectory and Volkskrant Banen poll the opinions of thousands of employees about their employers. This year 263 companies participated; in total more than 157,000 questionnaires were completed.

The employees of Sanoma Uitgevers gave their company an even higher score than last year: the overall satisfaction increased from 7.7 to 8.0. As a result the company has now moved from the tenth to the fifth position amongst companies with more than 1,000 employees.
