The logo of the Sanoma Group is comprised of a symbol (a continuum) and the word Sanoma. Sanoma is Finnish for ‘message’, which describes the company’s core business adequately. The symbol consists of three connected arms that symbolise the union of the three companies that came together when Sanoma was founded. The logo is meant to crystallise the values that the company adopted: creativity, reliability and dynamism. Creativity is highlighted in the symbol's three-dimensional nature and the sense of movement this creates. The logo’s gold and blue colours stand for reliability. Dynamism is highlighted in the energy contained in the movement underlying the symbol.
