StoryOnline: Stars at a click

The New Media Department of Sanoma Budapest today launched its new portal, StoryOnline (www.storyonline.hu), as a present on the occasion Women’s Day in Hungary. Herewith Sanoma Budapest intents to create the largest, highest standard interactive Hungarian website dedicated to star topics.


StoryOnline, with its star blogs and insider stories, offers visitors a unique connection with the world of the celebrities. The service will further strengthen Sanoma Budapest’s leading position in the star segment, where it is already present with star magazines Story, Best and VIP and with storytv.


StoryOnline reports about life of local and international celebs, always providing the latest news from the world of stars. The editorial staff, headed by László Pásztor, compiles original, rich and colourful content, to be renewed every few minutes. At the same time, the portal is supported by the exclusive news of Story, Best and VIP, and storytv. The launch of StoryOnline is in line with Sanoma Budapest’s strategy to broaden and strengthen its content and the synergies between it’s on line, television and printed products.


In addition to the continuously refreshed news, site visitors will get exclusive and special information about VIP’s on glamorous parties, will learn about films worth wile watching, can analyse celebrities’ style with fashion experts and read about their favourite soap operas.


In the Kukkoló section, users can ask questions to the most seasoned star journalists and in the StoryKlub users can get in touch with stars, since Vera Tóth, András Csonka, Éva Horváth, Zsuzsa Demcsák and the teenage star Lola, maintain a star blog on the portal, and the list of star bloggers is continuously expanding. Through StoryKlub visitors can contact

stars directly and exchange opinions.


Through the development of the StoryOnline Star Encyclopaedia, the editorial staff intends to create the largest and richest star data base in Hungary.


The site will be unique on the Hungarian Internet market due to its easy-to-digest, exciting, entertaining, up-to-date content and its stylish, modern layout.


The launch of the star portal is accompanied by an intensive marketing-communications campaign.
