Sanoma Uitgevers brings Grazia to the Netherlands

Hoofddorp, 6 July 2007 – Sanoma Uitgevers, part of Sanoma Magazines, introduces Grazia, the first weekly glossy in the Netherlands. The title has the dynamics of a weekly and the looks of a glossy.

The magazine offers an exciting mix of fashion, beauty and lifestyle and meets the broad interests of young, self-assured women. Grazia focuses on young, working women aged between 25 and 45 years old.

Publisher Ard Siekerman: “With the glossies of Sanoma Uitgevers we are moving forwards. In print and online. Grazia matches our glossy portfolio perfectly. We are proud that Mondadori - the largest publisher of Italy – has granted us the license of Grazia and that we are able to deliver this international concept in the Netherlands. In Italy and England this glossy is already appreciated as the number one magazine of its kind. This concept of a weekly glossy also offers new opportunities to advertisers.”

Editor-in-Chief Hilmar Mulder (also Editor-in-Chief of Cosmopolitan): “Grazia has a unique, contemporary sandwich formula by combining high-end fashion, extensive shopping and inspiring beauty with world news, real life stories and well-informed celebrity gossip. This with the looks of a glossy but the pace of a weekly will make it in my opinion thé magazine for today’s woman!”

Grazia will appear this autumn. Sanoma Magazines also publishes Grazia in license in Russia. The launch of Grazia in Russia took place last March.
