Closure of Gloria

Moscow, 9 February 2009 - Independent Media Sanoma Magazines (IMSM) has decided to close the weekly magazine Gloria. On February 19, the last issue of Gloria will be published.

The decision to close Gloria fits the strategy of IMSM to strengthen its magazine activities by focusing on core brands. At this stage Gloria would need substantially more investments to develop, which in the current economic climate and uncertain market situation is not the focus of IMSM.
